Fueled by Generosity, Ready to Serve More!

We’re thrilled to share that, thanks to generous funding from the Alameda County Transportation Department, SOS Meals on Wheels is receiving six new vehicles over fiscal years 2024–2026. These new vans are equipped with refrigeration units to help us safely deliver nutritious meals to seniors across our community.

So far, three vehicles have been purchased and had refrigeration units installed, and we’re excited to receive the remaining three next fiscal year. Once complete, all vehicles will be beautifully wrapped and ready to hit the road and bring nutritious meals to homebound seniors!
