Testimonials

I would like to compliment the ladies who deliver the meals. They are always cheerful and put the food in my refrigerator since I use a walker and can barely navigate. On one occasion I had a severe dizzy spell and she [the driver] assisted me to a chair, preventing a fall. Thank you so much and I am so pleased this service exists.
— Patricia L. Davis, San Lorenzo
I lost 44 lbs from my cancer and treatments, and it became really difficult to leave the house and shop for food, so I was eating pretty poorly. Meals on Wheels has been bringing me meals now for over a year and I really do have more energy and strength now, and the variety of food is great.
— Lee Hendricks, Oakland
I’d eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches—lots.
— Carolyn Major, when asked what she would do without Meals on Wheels
