We did it! We delivered a half-million meals in less than a year!
We are feeling pretty darn good about getting a half-million meals out to our homebound neighbors in record time. And so should you! We could not have done it without your support.
On the first day of our Half Million Meals Commemorative Week, San Leandro Mayor Pauline Russo Cutter and Acting Police Chief Luis Torres delivered lunch to Bruce and Harriet Anderson who tell us they couldn't be more grateful for Meals on Wheels.
Having the opportunity this past week to get back out in the community and share this celebration with others, and to briefly remove our masks and see each others’ smiles, has been such a wonderful experience. Thank you all for your support and your vigilance.
